The question I kept asking myself the rationale why a TRO was issued by the Supreme Court, allowing Gloria to travel in haste. Flight delays would not endanger her life or cause irreparable medical damage. Domnique-Straus Kkan the disgraced IMF chief was accused of sexual harassment, (according to the victim) a tough bail was imposed, DSK was never allowed to leave USA and he was placed under house arrest simply because he was considered a "flight risk" Khan had to post a bail of $1 million in cash. $5 million in insurance bond and an armed guard at his expense while he is on house arrest. Doesn't this principle applicable to Goyang and husband? The state Supreme Court (NY) did not intervene. No TRO was ever issued. Everything was left to the discretion of the lower court.

The people have no desire to educate justices of the Supreme Court. It is always assumed that justices are clothed with wisdom and common sense. The fact that justices are tenured (they have secured jobs and not subject to layoffs) they should aim for excellence in their work and in handling knotty legal cases that benefit not just one single person. To Justice Tonyo; What Drilon and others are asking is for Corona alone and not all Arroyo appointees to inhibit bec. as per record he was the Chief of Staff of Gloria when she was VP and I believe also as spokesperson; he was unconstitutionally/illegally (ipinilit talaga) promoted to be CJ; and Corona has consistently voted in favor of Arroyo. The President knows what is right and what is wrong even if he’s not a lawyer - presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said. He also said what is legal is not always necessarily right. Well if it is NOT legal then it surely is NOT RIGHT. But if it is LEGAL, to SOME people it may NOT be right but THAT IS THE LAW.
