 hat in the world has
happened to cops in the United States? It seems that today only psychotic,
unstable, individuals are joining the U.S. police force this days.

People from all across the globe were more than willing to give American
cops the benefit of the doubt, at first. But in instance after instance,
from Ferguson, MS and the killing of Michael Brown, a young black man who
witnesses say was unarmed and posed no threat at all to police; to today’s
cold-blooded murder of Walter F. Scott, 50 by South Carolina police officer
Michael T. Slager, 33. Mr. Scott had been stopped by Officer Slager for—of
all things—a busted taillight. But as Scott turned and fled, he was fired at
8 times by the officer and died on the spot. In his report on the incident
Slager stated that he “feared for his life” because Scott grabbed his stun
gun from him.
What Officer Slager did not
know was that the incident was caught on cellphone video which showed the
cold-blooded
 murder of a distraught black man by this white police officer
who is also seen on video
picking something up from the ground where the scuffle occurred and dropping
it beside the victim’s body.
Murder charges have now
been filed against Slager who may well find it difficult to defend himself
given the damning video evidence that has just surfaced. Slager may
eventually end up in the slammer but the issue that truly needs to be
addressed is the character and psychological makeup of American police
today. A vast majority are little more than arrogant bullies who it seems
take pleasure in intimidating hapless minorities for the sheer sick pleasure
of it.
Unlike cops of decades past
who answered the noble calling and put their lives on the line in order to
save a life. Today’s American policemen have turned an inherently dangerous
job into something about as safe and ordinary as a valet parking attendant’s
job.
You can make almost all
situations safe by shooting first and asking questions later…if you’re up to
it. Just say you “feared for your life” and had to empty your weapon’s
cartridge on a poor black or minority kid. As the pirates of old would say:
“dead men tell no tales.”
If America is to remain the
leader of the free world, it must totally revamp its current concept of what
a police force is. What the country needs are law enforcement officers who truly look
after its citizens while upholding the law. Not a police force that attracts demented individuals who
because they wear a badge delude themselves into thinking they are “Rambos”
and prey on hapless unarmed minorities.

There Will Never be Lasting Peace with the Bangasamoro Basic Law
